Keeping Busy in Kislev

Hi Everybody, Galit here!

Do you remember our campaign? For you, it was ages ago! But for us, we are benefitting from the AMAZING success that it was, and we haven’t forgotten. Thank you to all of you special donors who make the healing happen! אין כמוכם!

And  Sukkos.... Yes, over a month ago, but we had to share - gorgeous, no? Honestly, we even surprise ourselves at how much we manage to do!

And don’t worry, we’ve been busy since! Here is a little bit of what has been going on -

Last week, Machon BY High School came for a tour of LevLA. We did activities, and I told them my story (if you don’t know it, you can read about it here).

Look how much fun we had 😀:

And see that little girl there, making cookies. Her family has been in Palo Alto, awaiting an open heart surgery for her three-month-old brother.
They are staying in a one bedroom apartment there, (a family of six bla”h,) and came to LevLA for Shabbos to breathe a little bit.

The hospital in Palo Alto is far from the tiny frum community, and it is so nice for them to be part of seudot, minyanim, and of course, a challah bake!
We hope they will be able to come again for Chanukah!

And speaking of Chanukah... Do you remember our huge menorah?Shlomo is so busy, he is not sure that he’ll have time to put it up this year.I can’t imagine Chanukah without it though! What do you say?
